Reliability means Fortress mini is designed to live outside 24/7 and has smart temperature controls to cool the internal components to prevent overheating. as well as a built-in battery heater to prevent freezing. The enclosure is waterproof and includes waterproof cord entry/exits on all sides.
The Fortress Mini solar generator can be ordered with an optional 500Wh lithium battery or you can use your own 12V battery. If you use your own battery. you can use virtually any 12V battery type: Lead acid. SLA. gel. AGM. lithium ion or LiFePO4 (Lithium Ion Phosphate). Included inside the Fortress mini is a 20A (240W) solar charge controller. and 150W inverter for 120V power output. already installed in the enclosure.
Featuring our 100% waterproof 20A solar charge controller. the Fortress Mini can be easily programmed for a dusk-to-dawn output (the power output starts when the sun goes down. turns off when the sun comes up). It can also be programmed for 24/7 continuous output. or dusk-to-dawn a time limit.
